Regulation of the mammary stem cell hierarchy and its relation to breast cancer. We use mouse models to investigate the role of proto-oncogenes in regulation of stem cells, lineage restriction and differentiation. We have a particular interest in the role of epigenetic modifiers in these processes.
multiparameter flow cytometry, cleared fat pad transplantation, in vitro colony-forming & differentiation assays, mouse models of breast cancer, histology and (wholemount) fluorescence imaging
transgenic mice (KO, GFP reporters and conditional transgenes for various oncogenes)
